I took pictures of the new rugs (and a few other areas) around our apartment; might as well while it's clean, right?! So here are 2 of the entryway:
The living room set-up is slightly different than before. Adam noticed that having the brown chair by the entryway made the room feel a lot smaller, so we just moved it to the other side. We are still enjoying the long coffee table and glad for the purchase from the antique fair.
I also took a few of the rest of the room with pictures up on the walls (ignore the lamps on the side...we have to figure out what to do with them!):
And finally, our Yom Kippur break fast feast:
I was very proud of my first attempt at making matzah ball soup. While it wasn't the best soup in the world, the matzah balls did turn our fluffy and tasty, so I called it a success :) Also some home-made challah brought home from Charlotte, apples and honey (ok...agave...) for a sweet new year, and salmon and veggies because I just couldn't bring myself to make chicken after making a huge pot of jambalaya on Monday. We also got to have my mom's apple cake for dessert!!
